On the reading days they simply read together and take notes on what they are reading. My favourite resident is remembered in the Pitt Museum room across the hall. His The Wind Blew West (1935) is a complex study of the shifting fortunes of a small town bypassed by the railroad. The scene was of a child and a brown dog.
