The Gutai Bijutsu Kyokai (Gutai Art Association), a Japanese avant-garde group, was founded in 1954 in Osaka by Yoshihara Jiro, Kanayma Akira, Murakami Saburo, Shiraga Kazuo, and Shimamoto Shozo. First, I will show how the meaning of the blood glyph and the water glyph, and those of the heart and the flower glyph, in prehispanic thought fused and overlapped. Vanessa Bell conceived of and created the Friday Club in the summer of 1905. These movements began in Italy and eventually expanded into Germany, France, England, and other parts of Europe.
